American Bully
The breed American Bull or American Bully was created in the mid-nineties with the purpose of creating a strong and powerful dog in the muscle and with a balanced character, a strong tendency to defend the country, the person and the family.
The American Bull was created through years of selective breeding by combining the desired characteristics of the UKC American Pitbull Terrier and the AKC American Staffordshire Terriers. Its origins can be found in the breedings on the East Coast and the West Coast in the U.S.A, mainly in Virginia and California. The American Bull is becoming increasingly popular in Europe and Asia.
In the American Bull were combined endurance, strength and energy of gameness (fighting dogs or work) with the size of Pitt and elegance color of Staffordshire. American breeders of the mid-90’s had the dream of creating a dog that possesses all of these qualities and started a selective program which provided for the fusion of all these genetic traits without losing sight of the important psychological equilibrium, where unreasonably aggressive traits were not allowed, in fact the American Bully is a dog with a jovial and stable, a proud and brave dog which instinctively feels his duty to protect her human friends and especially children.
The result of this passionate effort is precisely the American Bull or Bully, a wonderful dog that gives the impression of possessing great strength for his size (medium / large), muscular body and a head to brick. Strong movements, moves without seeming tired, look on, look imposing and proud.
From about twenty years now breeders who have been able to better select and improve the breed American Bull have created major bloodlines: Razor Edge, Gottline detta Gotti o Gotty, Remyline, KingpinLine, Mikeland, Greyline, Gaff, Ganghis Kon, Royal, Watchdog etc.
